It has been Pete's ambition to link by paddling all the major land masses in the Northern hemisphere. To-date the only crossings left to accomplish are:
BERING STRAITS - provisionally August 2007
At a straight distance of 66 miles, the distance between Alaska and Russia is the last bit off Pete's challenge.
SOUTH GEORGIA - 2005, November
Peter led a very successful expedition to circumnavigate the island of SG in November 2005 – completed in 13 days 8 hours.
